Few are indifferent to animals,
especially if we are talking about playful puppets.
And, although uncivilized abandons are a shameful truth,
the habit of adopting pets from dog pounds
is becoming well established.
But sometimes together with good intentions come good ideas
and that's how "Asociacion Toby Te Ayuda"
was born.
The organization selects abandoned dogs, which after being received
and accommodated with love and care,
start a training to become a tender and cheerful support
for individuals with particular needs,
that may be more vulnerable to social and gender violence.
In other words,
the association creates an efficient and positive "chain of care" from
which dogs, individuals and society can benefit.
So far they are working just in Spain,
but my hope is that other countries will soon be able to
share the value of this project.
