What is it that you can see in a gaze
how much of it are you
able to catch
allowed to reproduce
?
Mario Zanaria is a photographer
who refused a conventional framework of life
in search of hidden truths,
usually trapped behind a certain aesthetic rigour.
His portraits and landscapes reveal a seek
for a meaning,
hardly free from intense beauty,
a bit of drama
and a great sense of geometrical composition.
His favorite subjects happen to be women
- and how could you blame him -
And I am mainly a curious,
searching for my meanings through experimentation.
