Let's get more "daily life" and less politics,
I really have to share this crazy experience we had :
Have you ever been to a wedding in the egyptian countryside?
I bet the answer is no..
First of all let me clarify something : typical and rural Egypt is not exactly what we have been studying in the middle school, forget about papyrus and feloucas !
Now take a moment and try to imagine what globalization, combined with rural elements, poverty and trash taste might lead to.
Then add the context of a family that thanks to immigration revenues has become the richest of a small village.
Eventually shake the whole mix considering the islamic/egyptian concept of hospitality and you will have a fairly explosive result!
